Even though it has only been open for 2 ½ years, Carton Brewing is entrenched in the Atlantic Highlands community. The red brick building which contains the brewery has been in the community for over 100 years, and the brewery has worked with other local businesses to produce different beers.

Carton Brewing is one of the more established breweries in the Jersey Shore region. Over the years, they’ve brewed numerous beers, started a canning operation, and their connection with I Drink Good Beer has helped the brewery build an in depth YouTube presence.

At the helm of the brewery are head brew master, Jesse Ferguson, and the Carton cousins, Augie and Chris. Each with their own distinct roles in the brewery, they help make Carton what it is. To find out more about the brewery, I sat down with Augie in the Carton Brewing Pub and discussed  what Carton Brewing brings to the New Jersey craft beer scene.

The following is a two minute snippet of our conversation. I hope to post the full conversation with all possible speed. So be sure to check back soon for the complete interview.
